Took a hike yesterday

One time I saw this totally hot chick running (just so you don't skip over that word, I said "running") Baldy. Spandex shorts and a sports bra, and the second my eyes hit her outline I was spelunking her innards in my mind.

You know, there are some euphemisms that are 1000x worse than their referents. I think "spelunking her innards" is probably one of them...

And they say romance is dead.

:)Beautiful pics and can say I envy you. Heck if I tried to go up to 10,000 I think I die from lack of Oxygen, considering I live in NJ. Which is flat:(.

Hey, any pics of the red head?:D

bigcustom,

Yeah the I70 side through guenella pass is all newly paved. The 285 side is still bumpy. I hiked up to silver dollar lake and that was a good little trek too! I may drop you a line or two. Nice gear I thought I was the only one who brings wet wipees! I also usually take a small hand sanitizer too! Thanks for sharing your hike and pics.

I noticed in you gear pic you have a harness for you f1(?), how do you wear it?
Could you take a pic with it on?

Oh man i wish it was my back yard.... I dont think i would ever have time to get on the net... Here in LA its not even close to being green . Just diffrent shades of brown.

Fonly,

That was made by Robert H over at survivalsheath. Top notch excellent work. Here is a link to his sheath page just click on chest sheath on the right side. He is a platinum member here also. I have never met him, but consider him a class act, and his work is excellent.

N/m Post, found it out. :D

Looks great, how do you personally wear it? Under your sweater?
Could you show pics of how you do so?

It looks the same on me as it does on the guy on the website (except I am a little wider lmao). If you click the pics he has, they pop up in an enlarged version. As for how I wear it, I wear it over my t shirt under my pack straps. I use it strictly to keep a fixed blade handy in the woods, and it keeps it from flopping around my belt. If you really want to see pics of it on me, I guess I can oblidge, but they wouldn't be pretty :)

Bigb, how are you liking your Asolo 520's? I have been thinking about a pair of those, not too many good hiking boots in a wide size.

No if you dont want to I can understand, just one more thing. when and if you wear a sweater, do you wear it on the out side of that aswell? or, concealed I guess you would call it.

I never wear a sweater (don't like them), but when I layer up in cold weather with a fleece, soft shell, and/or hard shell, the knife goes over the top of everything. I want it to be easily accessible at all times. I did, when I first got it, wear it under shirts a few times to see if it was a viable concealment option, and, when adjusted correctly, it is nearly invisible in that role, but more hassle to access than a folder clipped to my pocket, or a fixed blade worn IWB. Hope this helps.

Awsome thanks for the information.

I have 12eeee feet. The Asolos were pretty snug (almost painfully so) when I first got them, but as they are a one peice full leather upper, I knew they would stretch and conform to my feet. After ten or fifteen miles of hiking, they are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn. Make sure to throw the factory insoles away immediately, and get yourself some superfeet. If you buy your boots from REI, and they don't stretch out or fit you perfectly for some reason, you can take them back. You might also try Dunham boots, I have a pair of their top of the line Waffle Stomper Premiers that fit like a glove, but they are as stiff as an approach boot.
