Yes, it's the original factory edge, and was intentionally ground this way. It may look a little strange, but there's definitely something to it...and this BAIII is sharp as heck! My Busse Air Rescue Knife (ARK), which could be called a BAIII variant, is ground the same way, also sharp as heck. :)

Thanks, man! It was a pure fluke that I decided to see what was on the 'Bay at that time. I usually don't check that often any more. Gotta ask though. What stopped you from grabbing it? The white mark (which did wipe right off), or the "infinity" steel, or...? Just curious as apparently 5 people looked at it per hour (only there about 1-2 hours, I think) but no one jumped. You're right, $225 OBO...I will admit that it did throw me off for a couple of minutes looking for the scam before jumping on what looked too good to be true (while intoxicated, LOL).
