Did an over nighter yesterday and fit in some hiking time. This is a place off of the Foothills Trail called "Kings Creek Falls". (70ft) Just a short afternoon hike, but theres a little beach like area at the base that is a great place to just relax and take a breather.

Looks like a great time! We have many trais with a tree canopy over them. If you can fend off the ticks, its like 20 degrees cooler walkin them. Makes it sweet when its blistering hot outside.... Great pics man.

Great pics! What was the temp outside? Looks like you had a great time!

It was about 86 degress snake. taking the elevation and time of day into account. It had hit 95 that day in the flatlands so yeah, 85 to 86 degrees.
The cool air rush coming off of the bottom of the falls felt GREAT! not to mention the cold water pool at the base was heaven to wade around in. :D

I realized that we have a TON of waterfalls in the area and I really havent seen to many of them. So, I'm gonna make a hike out of each of them till I see'em all.
I'll post pics as I go

Awsome! Waterfalls are one of my favorite natural wonders. We have some nice falls out thru the Columbia George, some are more touristy than others so you can find some that are off the beaten path. The mist from the falls is cleansing to the soul.
