I've had this thing forged for a couple of month's and the bug just bit me to take it out on a walk.Originally going to put an Osage shaft in it but it's still not seasoned to my likeing so i'll settle for the old oak walking staff for now

You may notice that there is a number 1 stamped in the bottom with my initial's-it's the 1st one of these i've forged out of Damascus

Great! thanks for sharing that!

I have a poll axe with a very heavy head, so I figured it would not be great for a walking stick/axe combo! I think the combo weighs something like 6+ lbs or so!

I have a 6 foot oak staff from it, but I never mounted the CS poll Axe head. I just put it on a whittled down pick handle for throwing.
