Working later today so just had time to grab my little Tin knife and head off out with the pooches !

Noticed plenty of Climbing Honeysuckle today, the vines from these were used by the indians to weave mats, blankets and bags !!!!

Great weather once again, real hot but some nice shade to be found amongst the trees......

When I first got my JK Tin knife I wondered what such a small blade could actually do, it turns out they can do quite a lot, be it pointing a stick, cutting a notch or making a fuzz stick these little fella's can get it done. It seems to be the first knife I now reach for in the house as well for opening packages etc !

Thanks for sharing the pics, Pit! Sounds like the blade can do a lot more than you thought. I have always loved tin knives. For such a small blade, they can do more than you would think.

All my customers really seem to like those Tin knives! I think I`m going to change my marketing strategy. Instead of giving the Tin knives away free with all orders, I`m going to start to sell the Tin knives for $150.00, and give away the bigger knives free with each order. :D

LOL ! Good strategy John !!!!!:D:thumbup:

Pitdog I've been out of the loop for a while.

Where is Maisy? :(

Maisy's still around, and still the undisputed (unless you count the protestations of TT) W&SS mascot. Not to worry!

Best,

- Mike

Thats a neat little blade. Any pics of it in hand?

I don't have an in-hand pic but here it is next to an Altoids tin, this is what they were designed to fit inside ! They are $30 with a sheath or free with orders over $100 !!!!

I've used the little guy so much that I designed a simpler version that is slightly larger...4 1/2" overall with a 2" blade, John made one up straight away and it's on it's way to me know, it has the as forged finish and I believe that he has called it a Last Ditch knife........
