Are what looks like rock ledges/outcrops in the creek clay or rock?

Looks like a fun day stepping back in time to relive the stuff when you were younger. I've tried similar things, but it just never is the same again.
 
It's clay. The creek is mostly sand and clay with very little rock. Though I do remember one area from way back that had some weird porous rock. It remember that we called it lava rock but I'm not sure what it really was. If I find it again I'll have to get a sample.

You guys are making me jealous with all these Bk16 pics. I have a Bk2 and BK11, both of which I love. Just need to figure a way to justify a new 16 since its a similar size to my esee-4.
