Polished up the edge of the new M6 and chopped on a piece of scrap red oak after work. Just used medium chops. Edge is unfazed. I see what the hype is about; can't wait for the FBM!

Always good to see Rats in action! :D

SR-101 is great stuff (what a shocker, huh?;) ). I've thinned the edge out on my BR a good bit with an EdgePro. It's sharp enough to shave your whiskers with, but even with the steeper "V"-edge it won't give in when chopping. I'm always amazed at how durable the edge is. :thumbup:
 
I've considered going the Edge Pro route, but the edge is pretty good just using an india stone, fine dmt, some wet/dry paper and mousepad, flexcut on cardboard or whatever else I have lying around. I reallllly need an extra-fine diamond/ceramic DMT Dia-fold!
