The other day I was at the BX and saw a knife by Tool logic which had a small flashlight built into it. It also had a small cavity for storage. Has anybody checked this out as to whether it is worth the $22 or so?

While it won't fit into the Altoids tin it may be OK for second knife in a pack type kit or stashed in a jacket pocket.

Any opinions??

I think they have 3 different versions of that knife, one with a LED light, one with a spot to put in a Minimag light/Solitare and the third has a firesteel in it. I think they all have a small storage compartment as well as a whistle molded into the handle material.

They seem to be a useful tool for our kits.

Who has one of this knives ?

Can you tell us what do you think of it ?

I would like to use as a Self Defense and Rescue in the city .... so I would like to know if it is strong or not.

Thank you

i have one with the fire steel in it. The whistle is loud enough to attract attention, the liner i dont really fancy, it looks too thin and held in place by two screws into the polymer body. Then again i havent been using mine very much. Its a good addition to a survival kit due to the numerous items it has in it Hope that helps.

I just got one today.....I'm not a big fan of liner locks all together, but I like this knife......I got the one with the firesteel in it....the knife is good, the fire thing is big....and it seems to be adaptable......I'm thinking to carry this one a lot.....
