I made a pair of these recently and think you would enjoy them, They are flat ground and bead blasted, they are not throwing knives as the steel is harder to hold an edge rather than softer to recieve shock.
$45 each or $80 for the pair. I can do a simple kydex or leather belt sheath, price includes shipping.

Hi there, this is some steel i got from a mill i worked it, it doesnt rust too bad and its hard enough to sheer through mild steel so i think its D2. i could do some edge retention tests if you like and compare it

Considered spark testing the scrap?, People dont really want to buy knives that could be this or that steel.

well from what i can tell then these are Molybdenum high speed steel which means M2 or M4. very interesting
