I have two small pieces of tool steel that I cannot use. One has the name V R WESSON, TANTUNG "G" on it and is 1" X 6" X 1/8". The other has the name portion ground off but I'm pretty sure its the same, it is 3/4" X 5-1/2" X 5/32" with a bevel on one end and edge.. I don't know if it could be laminated as a cutting edge or not as I don't have the equipment for that anyway. According to a book I have the content is as follows, Cobalt chromium alloy; C 2-4; Co 42-47; Cr 27-32; Fe 1 max; Mn 1-3; Nb 2-7; Ni 7 max; W 14-19.
If someone can use them I would like to possibly swap for something I can use (a small piece of D2 or 1095 maybe). If nothing else will "donate" them to someone who will put them to good use.
I apologize if I have this in the wrong forum. Please move it if it is..
