A non damaged (as in no micro cracks/fractures) .25 blade should be able to take a moderate kicking.

It's not the same knife. That one has a blade thickness of .1875 inch. The pictures in the op are deceiving if that is the same knife.
Makes senseIt's not the same knife. That one has a blade thickness of .1875 inch.
He said that he stomped on a ZT 0006 , after the Toor was broken, but the ZT did not break.
Yes, they would not and did well in previous testings which are normal knife use.I feel like neither of these knives would have ever broken had they been used simply as knives.
He buys all the knives with his own money and the platform profit is little, I believe he does all these for sense of achievement from contributing to the community. What are the motivations for this sort of “test”?
Sure this is not like Cliff level of review, but he does have a rough procedure he does to all knives.Uncontrolled testing produces meaningless results. If you cannot quantify the force you have applied, then you have proved nothing. There were so many uncontrolled variables in that test that the entire thing is meaningless.
Looks like China has their own version of Joe X.
Is there a youtube video of this?
