If you like it, you like it. That's all that really matters.
I don't want to jump on Toor. I like them, they have cool factor, and we all want more American knife companies to exist. I do know that one thing that happened is they grew very quickly. When they scaled up and rolled out their folding knives they had some parts made in China by We Knives (everything is USA made now). I suspect growing pains and logistical chaos had a lot to do with the reputation that has dogged them since. Their prices have not helped, either, really.
The Admiral is thinner than the Carothers kephart and cpm154 is softer than D3V. It’s going to take a fine, polished edge more easily and is going to cut cardboard better initially after stropping. But the folder is going to lose its edge much faster than the kephart.
