what can i do with a tooth? In a crucible? Flux? Trying to keep my mind off of the hole in my head, help me out here please......

NO tooth fairy jokes  .

I think the lanyard bead would be cool. Really puts some meaning into "A piece of me goes into every knife I make" :)

cut smaller discs from the tooth to epoxy over sunken rivet-heads- the Dentin and core are not useable as they are soft- have a logo laser-engraved or scrimmed into it- the enamel and outer layer can take a good polish and unless they are cracked by the removal process- should hold up fairly well. Some laser engravers will work down to 1/8 inch...

I had a science teacher in highschool that had her mothers gall stones as earrings. :barf:

WTF are you kidding me?

My mom had 2 toes removed due to her diabetis/poor circulation; you don't see me wearing them as pendants do you?

Some people are just efin weird.

You could put it under your pillow and see what happens.
If you brush the rest of them they will stay in your mouth, and you won't have to worry about what to do with them.

I've set teeth into rings, its not hard to make a bezel out of silver, copper etc. just don't heat the tooth, they'll crack and split, especially if they aren't fully dry.

a simple band bezel will work well, just bend the metal to the rough shape of the tooth (semi round) and solder it onto whatever, then place the tooth in it and bend the metal inward around the tooth just enough to keep it in. my gf wore a ring made from my wisdom tooth for about 4 years until the band cracked.

Sam, I vote for the earring dangle if you're pierced, otherwise lanyard bead.

Sadly, that's not true for all of us. I always took pretty good care of mine, and still had to have the last of them pulled at age 45.

It ain't all bad, though. For a handy guy with good tools, an old set of dentures present some truly awesome potential:

Rock on, gentlemen.

Make a mold out of it and make yourself a gold tooth! You really could use a grill.:D
Man, where is the smile with the gold tooth?

Or cast them in silver to make lanyard beads.;)
