Models I would INSTANTLY buy in a Battle Grade in 2016... Ergo Battle Mistress, Full tang Battle Pappy, Killa Zilla, and of course a Gladius.

The tigerhide usually comes on Limited Editions or occasionally with some leftovers making appearances on show offerings which was the case for both of these.

AMS: Didn't think I would like this as much as I do, it's easily my most often used and carried. Really love this blade. Sterile and double cut (insert joke here).

Scrapyard 1111: Perfect combination of size, Res-C, and rock solid SR101.

HDDD: I let this one go, but was so fun as a project. Sometime these projects don't go so well, and you regret it,, this one came out great.

I am assuming that is a Hot Diggity Dagger. I just picked one up because of your amazing picture in preparation to strip it. Either way I am Stripping a dagger soon!

Thanks! It's a great dagger, I'm excited to see how it comes out.
A little advice,, get ready to sand! The decarb below the coating takes some elbow grease to remove, especially in all those grooves (corrugated bevel technology). I found a buffing wheel loaded with compound will make pretty quick work of that.
I tried a traditional cord wrap, then a strider style wrap,, all seemed too fat to me. What you see there is gutted 550. I think I did a one time flat wrap,, then followed with a random wrapping pattern.

Totally forgot, I reprofiled the edge as the factory one is (rightfully so) designed for penetration.

Thats tough- There are a lot of just plain good knives I got this year, and some badass, but I'm going to say these 3 because they are unique one-off customs, 3 of my favorites and I'll most likely never sell them.

I got the R6 at bladeshow---the TG and BJ I actually bought in 2014, but they were customized in 2015, so I got them in their current form this year (does that count?)

Thats BJ fighter is droolworthy!!! Absolutely amazing!!
