I don't always carry a bunch of knives at the same time, every knife is a tool to be used for a specific purpose for me but...

gerber.JPG

I almost always carry a Gerber Multitool. Works for fixing and making a lot of
things. Many years and many adventures with this old trusty tool. Mine is a little beat up but it serves it's purposes.

When I trail hike, all that is needed is a nice little Leatherman Micra. 1.7
ounces and does everything I have ever need from a trail hiking knife. I try to keep the blade razor sharp.

When I am at work, I also like to have my RAT-3 which goes on my pistol belt, I also plan to use this when I get home for hunting and trail maintenance work. I just got this one.

When I go out the wire I have a CRKT M16-13T hidden on me in case I need a knife in a pinch. Great knife at only 3.4 ounce.

And for my last good blade - still looking for a good hatchet. Thanks to this forum I have a couple of options I am looking at.

I carry my mori inspired cqc knife which i made. Its small enough for concealed carry yet offers everything you'd need in a self defense knife. I use it mostly in a reverse grip (blade down) The back of the blade has small angled notches for grabing and locking onto an attacker. The blade is sharpened at 20 degrees and is sharp as a scaple. You can also use the butt as a impact weapon for manipulating presure points. The kydex rig is great for carry virtually anywhere, I have it set up for ankle carry in the photo.

I carry one or two of these five 90% of the time.

My EDC rotation always changes but most recently here it is...

#1 - BM42
#2 - Spyderco Endura 4
#3 - Kershaw Scallion
#4 - CRKT Rollock (love the novelty of this one but I wish it had a really good blade steel...To bad...)
#5 - Beater Kershaw Vapor (2 of them, when the one goes dull I switch, then I sharpen the other one when I get the chance, these usually are kept in ym glove compartment for friends and family can play with them, lol, this way they don't drop or mess up my nicer knives...Smart huh, lol)
