I was thinking about my favorite factory folders and how once in a while some great designs come along that make me really like a knife regardless of bladesteel or brand etc. These are knives that feel as if they were designed just for me and that have proven to be useful. These are all knives that I own. I am sure there are other great designs out there and would like to hear your picks. In no particular order:

1. Benchmade Mini AFCK (the original with Spydie Hole)
2. Spyderco Dragonfly (any version, but like the Carbon Fiber best
as it is tip down)
3. Spyderco Calypso Jr. (flat ground blade, I like the Micarta best)
4. Small Regular Sebenza (great lock strength and simplicity, great
in reverse grip)
5. Buck 110 with finger grooves (fits my hand great, a classic
made even better)

1. William Henry Icon.
2. CRK Sebenza.
3. CRK Mnandi.
4. Spyderco Bob Lum Chinese Folder.
5. MicroTech Amphibian.

There are so many more that I could list that it seems almost unfair to stop at 5, but those would be my current top 5. That will probably change next week.

:D

There are lots of factory designs that I like, but my top 5 would be:

Microtech L.C.C. (Need I say more?)
Benchmade AFCK (The best design ever to be made by Benchmade)
Benchmade 710 (The second best design to be made by Benchmade)
Spyderco Wegner (Simply to die for)
Spyderco Endura (My 1st Spydie, and still their best seller)

Darn! I can only choose five?

:(

I know that the two CRKT are thought of as "entry level knives" or whatever but they just feel and function so good that I can definately live with the aus 6 steel. (actually I don't have a problem with Aus-6 it's the bead blast that pisses me off)
