I know I am like one of those oldtimers who only likes buck 110.
I am only 36, but I can imagine, I'll go to a knife shop and say "where's your spydie display JR.?" then the sales rep will roll his eyes and when I leave he'll say to his co-worker "that old coot still stuck in the 90's, when will he change with the times?"

I just don't see it happening I found what I love.

MT/Lightfoot LCC
Kershaw/Onion Avalanche
A.G.Russell One Hand Knife
Kershaw Double Duty
Buck 110

CRKT M16 04. Would be number one on my list. It's great bang for the buck. A lot of folks have them in my neck of the woods.

Properly speaking are the CRK&T M16 or the Microtech LCC models (for example) no factory designs.
Regardless of this, here are my five favourite factory designs:
  1. Microtech: SOCOM Elite-M
  2. CRK&T: Crawford/Kasper, large
  3. Microtech: Vector-M
  4. Spyderco: Native, lightweight
  5. R.E.K.A.T.: Pocket Hobbit
    [/list=1]

In no particular order either

Spyderco Dragonfly
Chinook
Wegner
Delica
BM mini AFCK

These are the locking blades I find in my pocket most frequently

A bunch of good knives chosen. Looks like the Wegner and BM 710 have received a lot of votes, as well as a few others. I have been able to handle a 710 and it seems like a good knife. I have not been able to find a Wegner to handle, but would like to find one, especially the Wegner Jr.

Assuming that these are all folders...

Spyderco Military
Calypso Jr. (I like micarta too but only have the lightweight for the VG-10 blade)
Dyad Jr. (micarta)
AFCK, either size
REKAT Sifu SE

Emerson SOFCK
Emerson Commander
Emerson SARK
SAK Swiss Champ

Sorry, I can only list four......perhaps I should try again with customs.

Regards,

Ed

-BM 710 for the reliable lock and functional design
-Spyderco Native for extending the handle with the index finger groove on the blade in a small comfy quality folder
