Top 5 Swiss Army Knives

For me, the retired Yeoman reigns supreme.

Honorable mention:

- Compact
- Manager

Swissbiano Yeoman Plus.

1. Midnite Manager - IMO best small keychain tool/SAK of all time.
2. Craftsman/Handyman - =Swisschamp without the fluff.
3. Super Tinker - Just plain slim and handy.
4. Executive - Great office carry.
5. Farmer/Pioneer - Larger tool size in a compact form.

Numbers 1 and 2 can be swapped in any order.

Really surprising that anyone would prefer the nailfile of cadet over the awl/scraper of the pioneer.

I've used the nail file on a regular basis, most recently yesterday. Even trimming my nails at home with clippers still can require filing to keep them from having rough spots. OTOH, in 34 years of life I have literally, never once, not one single time, needed an awl. I find it weird that anyone WOULDN'T prefer the nail file.

As for my tops, Midnight Manager pretty much covers all my regular uses, though I do like the 1 handed opening Trekker.

Alox Pioneer, Super Tinker, Farmer, Cadet and a Huntsman in my backpack. I have a drawer full of SAKs. Love those knives. They seem to be the only ones TSA doesn't steal from my checked bags when I travel.
