I fish them in streams using a steady retrieve adding movement by twitching the rod. I like the fact that I can fish them at different depths and speeds. The color seems to be the biggest factor. Here's a nice Brookie I caught last spring out of a heavily fished stream using a crappie magnet. I watched two guys fishing the same hole using spinners and live bait catch nothing. I hooked this guy on my second cast.
