New here. Looking for someone to suggest some folder makes/models that have "top" flipper mechanisms.. (flipper tab near the top of the blade opposed to the back)

I havent been able to find much considering when I search "top flipper knives" all my results are websites top 10 list of standard flipper knives..

thanks

Don't think they are front flippers. Flipper's on back side of scales.

This is a front flipper. Photo from Blade HQ

I've always wondered how they work. Does the blade back as a grip point for your thumb? Looks difficult to open to me. I do like the Boker Plus knives. Have a Tech Tool City One that is great.

I wish i could find more production knives that use this type of flipper.. they seem somewhat rare.. i like the boker plus model that was mentioned above but i am not big into recurved blade shapes..

Front flipper is my favorite opening mechanism now after obtaining Boker Plus Exskelibur I.
The blade is spear- or drop-point, not recurve.
