Top of the list baby! Most dangerous jobs...

you get up this way SHS drop me a pm or email and we'll go have a few cold ones in some sleazy waterfront bars and talk knives and fish stories :)

Salespeople...there is an inherent risk there...dealing with Phucktards all day..telling lies for a living...:D making close to six figures a year....its hell let me tell you..;)

What happens if you're a retired firefighter, working on a fishing boat, and you get killed?

if you die in a shipboard fire, it would be plainly obvious that you were neither a good fisherman or firefighter

ren. I worked in retail once in my life, and let me tell you, i had my share of PT customers. I didn't make six figures, but I can sympathize. I'm not suited to customer service, I can hardly stand working the deck on whale watches!!

NV- edited to add- you could say you would be out of the frying pan and into the fire. har har har! :D

amen... (rant on)but its not just about the money. its fighting for rights and liberties that we ourselves are not allowed. about the hypocrisy, about the rank makes right attitude. and the careless way we are used to fulfill the hidden objectives of others(rant off)
I can't help thinking that if we paid our military folks a little better, there would be less incentive to bail out for a high-paying job in the private sector.

I think there should be a structured system where there is the usual level of pay in peace time.
At times of war or conflict the pay and benifits should be increased substantially to reflect the risks.
Especially for the front line men and women not so much the support backup.
The soldiers are not appreciated enough in what they do and the risk they are in. (in my opinion)
