Recently Topped Up the Collection with some Top of the Line Sharps from Tops (hope that statement isn't too Top heavy...).
Now have the Little Bro, Mini Scandi, Tom Brown Scout, Skinat, Scandi Trekker, CUT 4.0, Overlander 2, and Fieldcraft BOB in 154CM. I really like the Tan Canvas Micarta on the Mini and last three on the list. Have asked Tops to offer it as Optional Scales on other models as the Tan on Black give it a classic look. Getting used to the 'stubby' feel of the Scout but it's growing on me. Really like the Overlander 2 as a mini bushcraft or heavy duty field knife.
Also added a Ka-Bar Jarosz Globetrotter and a CRKT Acquisition (which for the price, is a surprisingly decent EDC for using around the shop).
Replaced the original Orange G10 scales on my Kershaw Field Knife with some I made in Black Linen Micarta. Came out fairly nice but I sold my sand blaster to rough up the surface so feels a bit slick still even after sanding.
Made a new Kydex Sheath for my Kershaw Skinner as I sent my old one to my nephew along with an extra Skinner I had new in the box as he asked me about EDC sharps and thought I'd at least get him started. He's fresh out of school and just got hired by the Boca Raton PD. With what he'll be making as a starting salary maybe he should be adding to my collection instead of the other way around ;>)
Just ordered the new Kershaw LoneRock as I'm interested in comparing it to my Field Knife and curious about the scales. If it's crap it can always just go in the toolbox or the boat box or keep my Moras company instead of occupying a spot in the collection drawer.
