TOPS-Are they any good?

Hey Johan,
I have a TOPS Stormrider and Intercepter 331 and love them both! They have a very tough blade coating and their 1095 steel seems to be very good.The kydex sheaths are really made well also.These knives just seem to melt in the hand and the micarta handles are great.You will be hard-pressed to find a better knife for the money.That Hawk Recon looks cool too and I don't think you could go wrong with it or any TOPS knife for that matter.Let us know what you get.

I recently got in a small shipment of these knives. They are incredible. Cliff stamp will soon be doing a serious review of the TOPS Steel Eagle 107D. Out of the ones that I have handled, the Firestrike is the nicest. There is nothing that I could say to make you understand how nice this knife is. If you do decide that you want one, drop me a line.

Having experiance with TOPS knives, and the owner Mike Fuller, in my opinion they are one of the best buys out there, buy one, you wont be dissapointed.

I talked to Mr Fuller and took a good look at all his knives.
They are all very nice blades ready for SERIOUS HARD USE. If I was still in the service and had to pack a ruck sack and hike 25 miles a day carrying weapons and gear into nasty country... I would consider one of the TOPS line for sure. VERY SHARP, very serviceable...

UPS just delivered two TOPS blades to me. One is a Hawk Recon and the other a Storm Rider, both in hunter's points.
Damn! they feel good in the hand with the Storm Rider fitting me like a glove. The Kydex is top quality with an excellent fit.
Both of these knives appear to be made for hard and serious work and I don't believe you could get them to fail in strength. Edge is excellent. Not only is this a knife but also appears to be a serious tool.
One of these will be accompanying us to the jungle next week for an upcoming review in Tactical Knives.
First impressions: You're not gonna go wrong buying one of these. - Jeff
