TOPS coating removal

After being refused to recoat my Tracker by TOPS I decided to polish it and fancy it up. I was completely amazed how soft Lacquer thinner made the coating. I just had to use a razor blade to remove the coating. The steel needs a lot of sanding to get the blade smooth before hitting it with a buffer. Going to cover the scales with rattlesnake skin and do some file work to it also.

Sounds interesting. I'd love to see some pictures of the work in progress, and of course the finished product.

Regards,
Steve
