I have one of their Firehawks (if I remember the name correctly or it was the Nighthawk) which I purchased back in either 99 or 2000 at Fort Benning. It went with me to Iraq, good solid knife, keeps an edge really well and I am very happy with it!
It is part of my kit. I hope this helps.
I own a CQT-304. The steel holds a great edge, the recurve gives the blade a ton of cutting power, and the frame is super solid. Issues with the knife include substandard mounting hardware for the clip (t5 torx that would not stay tight and eventually were worn through) and the blade has a tendency to develop a bit of play. The clip issue was overcome by having STR make a new titanium clip for tip up carry. I have yet to find a satisfactory solution for the blade play. The PB washers are proprietary and I dont know where to source them and TOPS requires proof of purchase to do any warranty work on their knives. I was ignorant and failed to hang on to the paper work so I am sol as far as that aspect goes. I loved the knife when I first got it though and hopefully I will get the play issue resolved.
