TOPS made the FDX series with exposure to rugged extremes in use and conditions in mind. The FDX-XL is almost 1/4" thick and is made out of one solid piece of 1095 High Carbon Steel. Although it is only 7" overall it has terrific grip options and functions as a very nimble blade. It's slim profile and recurved clip-point blade make it excellent in both tactical and hunting uses.
