Tops Felony Stop

A quick note on acceptability:

"We avoided the use of aggressive lines in the design, making the Felony Stop "politically correct" and acceptable by most agencies. Not being offensive to the public, the felony Stop can pass as a utility knife."

He's speaking specifically as not being too scary in police hands. As a civilian item, perhaps a bit much.

Not 100% sheeple friendly, but easy to hide...Click. Boker has a production version just hitting the shelves about now that retails for around $20, but if you were looking at TOPS you might as well go for the custom.

Esav Benyamin:
I like that Toothpick. Exactly the type of thing I was hoping other people would know about and suggest. But its out of my budget.

FortyTwoBlades:
They make one in Titanium. I have a weakness for all things Ti. Also out of my price range but the plain steel is something I will definitely consider.

Thanks guys! Anymore?

Ka-bar TDI?

I would look at a Benchmade Activator. It is small yet capable and dressy enough to be carried in an office openly if you wanted. If you like it then you can get the custom version from Mike.

If you really don't want to intimidate folks, try the tactical pink RAT Izula. :D

(do it! do it!)

Sorry for not answering your OP. As you noted I got side tracked. Which Boker did you look at? The Boker MPT is my next EDC. Like Chad Los Banos's Subcom the MPT is pretty deceptive looking

Also like the SubCom it's a knife that needs to be handled to really be appreciated. His handles provide an amazingly solid grip.

Seriously, try looking at the For Sale : Fixed Blade in one of the Bladeforum subsection. There are many customs of many styles popping up all the time. Most of the time (Actually it may be ALL the time) it comes with good steel and I am confident with the heat treat. For a price that is actually thereabouts or cheaper than the TOPS.

Just imagine a Bailey strapped on your side with it's hamon lines for example :)

I just ordered a scaleless boot/neck knife made of 1095 with a hamon line for 50 bucks, how cool is that :)
