It seems most any searches I do here for Tops knives brings up nothing but a few sales? Is there a good general consensus among users?
Any input or a direction to search in would help. Thanks in advance.

Tops makes great knives with great heat treat. They are an excellent company with a great warranty too. I wouldn't hesitate to get one at all. Also their steel sharpens up surprisingly easily. I was shocked at how easy it was to sharpen up my B.O.B from Tops. I consider Tops one of the best fixed blade makers for the value you get and a cut above.

My TOPS Fieldcraft B. O. B. is one of my favorite fixed blades in spite of the fact that others cost significantly more.

The Tops BOB is also my go-to fixed blade. I'm really interested in their new Puukko as well.

I have a TOPS .230 machete. It is well built, but the heat treat is not great. The steel is so soft you spend more time sharpening than you do chopping. I have some great machetes now and that one just collects dust. That being said, I am very hard on my machetes, but they are supposed to be used hard. All my other blades handle abuse very well!!!

I view their quality same as great companies like ESEE. You spend the money for a knife that will last.

I have a TOPS Air Wolfe that I bought for a general purpose fixed blade, and I love it, but haven't had much use for such a knife lately. I also have a Camillus Barbarian that numerous sources claim is made by TOPS, and if it isn't, then it sure has a lot of their design and material elements. I am a big fan of their "Rocky Mountain Tread" scales, which also pop up on some of the Buck/TOPS collaborations like the CSAR-T folder. Some of their designs are a little over-the-top, but most are interesting.

Was tempted by a TOPS Wolf Pup XL yesterday to take out with me tomorrow but for some reason lost the free-next-day delivery option on Heinnie so spent the afternoon sulking over £5... should have just ordered it lol

I got an SXB last year and I love it. Superbly built. And it cuts and chops like a mofo.

Awesome knife.

Their names are kinda stupid on most of their knives, but fit, finish, and quality is good. I have a tex creek from them and absolutely love it. Buy with confidence.

I had a few tops my favorite was the silent hero but I sold it only because I wanted something with CPM 3V. Overall they make good knives.
