I have a "White Fang" and 20th Anniversary "Tex Creek", still "new in the bag". Both were some of Leo's early hunting designs...







*EDIT- I think I also have an early release "new in the bag" #3 Tracker. (*that has the TOPS logo on the Micarta scales)

I often carry a Tex Creek (*in an Armatus "Architect" sheath), here in the bad $hit'tropolis...

As I understand it, Leo designed the Tex Creek as a hunting knife.

Despite that, it's 3/16ths of robust cutty/stabby goodness...which makes for a pretty decent "GTFO me!" defensive knife...

You bet; I hope that never happens, but if so damn the torpedos.

I would like to send him a new kydex sheath for it because like all Tops sheaths, it sucks.

I have had it for about two months now and I really like it. The ergonomics are great and it's a perfect size for me for an EDC. The kydex sheath is perfect for horizontal carry which is awesome.

Now the downsides: performance out of the bag was not very impressive; the edge is just too thick. I reprofiled the edge to 20 dps and it cuts much better now!
