TOPS Shango XL....who's had hands on one??

Anyone used the Shango XL? Looks great but I'd like to hear from people that have used or handled one.
 
I haven't tried the XL, but I have the regular one and it's a great li'l knife. If its big brother is anything like it then it's one excellent blade.
 
I designed the darn thing. Maybe a passaround is in order?
 
I got ahold of a regular one last summer, and I quite like it. It resides in my grab-n-go day hike bag. It would be cool if there were scales to put on it, sort of like the Izula.
 
I think you might like the wrap I put on mine. I'll see if I can snap a pic some time tomorrow. I thinned out the edge on mine (had the typical TOPS axe edge) and it's a slicing dicing machine! :cool::thumbup:

The previous owner seems to have thinned the edge is bit and it is pretty sharp. My Hi-Viz yellow para cord wrap is better than nothing, but not by much.
 
Crappy photo, photo here's the wrap. Nice and comfy without bulking it up too much for comfortable pocket carry.

I know its been three years, but is there any chance of this passaround still happening? I'm really close to pulling the trigger on the Shango XL but I'm curious to feel out the ergonomics of it both with the stock handles and with one of my paracord wraps. Thanks.
