TOPS Shango...

thanks for all of the comments once again folks...:)

Looks nice, but why is a stainless blade coated? To save on finishing cost?

I was wondering the same thing.
the little knife polished would be gorgeous

you know.. i was wondering that myself... the vast majority of TOPS knives are all 1095 and coated... i have debated on stripping the finish off... might still do it...

Good stuff Mike! I thought that one would be up your alley. It looks like a handy little blade, certainly a good edc.

And nice fuzz stick!!!

The thought occurred to me as well. I plan on using mine until the coating gets scratched to hell, then I'll strip it and polish it. I just hope it doesn't interfere with the fit of the sheath, but I guess I can always take a heat gun to it. :)

Nice review Mike. Those are some of the most delicate fuzzies I have seen.

Good stuff Mike! And nice fuzz stick!!!

thanks guys...:D that is some Hazel stocks i cut a while back... the stuff is great... it is super easy/fun to work with... it makes great traps and primitive arrows too... it grows all over this area... the stocks generally grow really straight and in various thickness's...

Great Review mike! Thanks for all of the kind comments everyone! I'm glad it struck a fancy!
