Tops-Tibo review

I generally prefer a total absence of jimping. It works well on the Tibo, though.

Well, We all have our like's . I like the Tibo and the jimping its small enough to work for me ,

anyway as a good neck knife. I , think Brian and Tops did a good job on this knife . I don't have an Izula :) to

compare them so I can't speak for that one. So if you are looking for a neck knife I think the Tibo will

be a good one .

For actual neck carry I think the Tibo beats out the Izula hands down. It's almost more of a dog-tag knife you might say. Very compact and light so there's not a lot of obnoxious flopping about. I consider the Izula more of a skeletonized small utility fixed blade that happens to fall within the range considered acceptable for a neck knife. :p Both knives pack a punch disproportionate to their size.

Eh? They both weigh the same and the Izula is actually a bit smaller (at least the first gen is).

The blade on the Tibo is a hair longer and the handle a little shorter. It has a much slimmer sheath, and that greatly affects how it carries. In spite of being a smidgen longer the Tibo is a tenth of an ounce lighter. It's not so much about the number stats as much as how it feels during use, if that makes sense.
