Hello all, would anyone know what year a #1 Tracker with serial number L-9xxx would be?

Also, there have been no design changes from when these first came out have there? (speaking of Tracker #1 only)

Tops won't answer. Plus I just saw a Tom Brown Tracker, #1, that looked sleeker, more narrow from the middle on. Just looked different than the fatter Trackers I've seen.

I have absolutely no real need to buy this knife, therefore I'm probably just going to buy it anyway...the micarta handle is BLACK though, I wonder was that a after market paint job or originally that way?
