I had the Cub's sister piece, the Street Scalpel. Good thick knife for it's price but substandard kydex.

Hey Smoke..

Well although I don't feel I'm qualified to do an indepth review on the blade itself I will do it....

What did you find wrong with the kydex on the scalple?
Interested in know,,since I'm kinda in that Biz...

I've had mine for a few weeks now, and have nothing but praise. It's a STOUT little bugger, and shaving sharp from the box.The whole thing is bulletproof, and comes in a great kydex sheath with a serious belt clip. If it appeals to you at all,I predict that you're going to love it!

Hey Normark, I've got a Pup and Scalpel, they're both solid and sharp. I put a lanyard/loop on the W.P. that my index and middle fingers slip into. I may also notch the guard. The Scalpel feels indestructable, kinda like an EOD tool with balls. I didn't like the boot sheath, so I combined it with a nylon Maglite holster to create a cool belt sheath. No field report, yet.. Later, Jason

The Scalpel sheath was a bit loose for me, I ended up putting rubber bands near the blade area to add more tension. My version had a IWB style sheath not multi-carry.

The Street Scalpel is stout little piece but, as Smoke mentioned, the sheath seems a little loose to me as well.

The Wolf Pup really grew on me once I had it a while. Be sure to write it up in the reviews section once you have had a chance to use it some.

Stay Sharp,

You’re right, the Pup will grow on you.

Mine bit me right out of the sheath the first time. Be careful with the pointed edge of the blade closest to your fingers! The little handle requires a bit of practice to grasp safely. I brought mine right home and filed the edge off the tiny end of the blade closest to the fingers, at the hilt. Now I love it. It’s a dynamite little booger, that’s for sure!
