tops worth it?

On another thread, for I belive the Tracker design, the TOPS version in 1095 is listed at 299, a custom made by I belive Jensen of Canada in ATS34 is stated as $375 shipped. Judge for yourself the value vs. price.

Gday to All,

brownshoe, thought i had better jump in....
Jensen Elite Blades (thats me!) is actually in Australia.
but the price quoted is still correct :)

I have been lookin' at the Tops Skinat. Looks to be a good little boot knife. One just to bang around with. Seems to be about the right size. Never owned a Tops before but I have handled a few at the shows. They are sturdy enough no doubt.

Peter did Tom Brown have you make that Survival blade ? Very nice. I like the eb fighter to.

Anywhoo.. back to the topic.

Frank, the "survival blade" link didnt work for me, so im not sure which knife you mean..... but.... no , Tom Brown has not asked me to make a knife for him.
The Evo "evolved" from an older knife of mine called a UDT. However the Brown Tracker did have a strong influence on overall size. At the moment i am prototyping a smaller and larger version as well as some blade variations.
Thanks

Wow, yours looks like these two got together & had a baby. A smaller model would be neat. A nice EDC size for urban setting.

My thoughts exactlty Frank, the smaller version fit neatly into a bum-bag (aka fanny pack) kit, grab bag, or shoulder harness.
Ill email you a pic of the first proto when its done!
