• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I recieved my new Tactical knives mag and its got an article that includes Tops knives. I have looked at pix on Hammerhead's site as well as others and now in the print. I have a question for any owners. Design wise those aggresive teeth in the palm area of the handle and on the guard look to be something that would tear the hell out of your hand while using this knife as survival tool as it seems it was intended. In hammer grip for choping the teeth on the guard appear as if they would chew up the webbing between your thumb and fore finger and the teeth in the handle which would chew up your palm. I have only seen pictures I wonder if any owners can comment.

Boriqua, the handle is very abrasive and I could not use it for an extended period of time without significant discomfort for the reasons you noted. For example, with a Steel Eagle, I cut down a 4" pine, limbed it out and pointed the base and my hand had reddened in several places. I would not wanted to repeat it. I needed to wear a heavy work glove for serious impact work.
