Tora Kukri

I really like the way Tora's khukuris look, but they have to improve their supply situation. Everytime I check out their website they are all sold out. Until they actually get some in stock it looks like I'll be sticking with my HIs.

The one's I've seen and gotten my hands only had the 2 knives.. No sharpening steel...

WHat's a going price for a good one ?? Just curious ...

Hmmm...the karda and chakma from HI are of varying quality. I think they let apprentices cut their teeth on the smaller tools before they move up to forging khuks. I've often thought that this one and this one would make for a fine pair of karda. I haven't tried either, but I plan to. Might have to remove a bit of material from the handles to get them to fit in the sheath. No problem with a bit of sandpaper though.
