Torit Dust Collector

Anyone have any experience with a Torit Model 64 dust collector or similar unit? I just picked one up on Craigslist. It was designed and used for metal dust collection so I am assuming I can run straight into the unit and not worry about trapping sparks in a water filter first. Does that make sense? Any other advise? I will only be using it for metal grinding. Thanks.
 
You should email the company and tell them you are going to be collecting metal and lots of sparks from a grinder, I'm sure they will be happy to tell you which is the proper dust collector
 
Well, I was told the same thing about another machine. When I opened it up to have a look inside there was 8 -10 long cloth filters. This was supposedly the machine for an industrial use pick from a welder or grinder. Have a look and see what's in there to be on the safe side. Frank
