Made it today, 7/5...
Made from a 8" Nicholsoin file tempered down to about 60rc., 5"long, 1/8" thick, 2 7/8" Rosewood Burgundy Dymondwood handle, 1 7/8" cutting edge, Sheath snaps right into handle, Bronze pins. You won't be disappointed w/ this one. $60 shipped conus w/ 100% mbg. Thanks for looking.

I like the snap idea. How is it secured to the scale ? I assume it's recessed and bonded...or did you tap the tang ?

If it's a trade secret, that's ok too lol.

I've been looking at your knives in recent threads, nice work. Maybe it's just as well that I'm saving for a new rifle...
 
Just received it and it's FREAKIN AWESOME!

Very well thought out, clean lines, grind & fit. The leather sheath is a beaut as well. Just shaved all the hairs off my arms with it. Am already wearing it around my neck.

Just picked up a torpedo from Michael as well, my 4th or 5th blade from him. As always, Michael's grinds and attention to detail are first class! Could be an excellent sheathmaker too if he wasn't a knifemaker first.
