torsion bar about to break?

The torsion bar on my kershaw shallot is getting weak, its probably at about 2/3 maybe even half the stregnth it was when i got it. is it about to break?

I never found a "weak" torsion bar to a clear sign it is going to break. It could break or it stay the way it is for years. It's so easy to replace the torsion bar in a Shallot. The satisfaction of a snappy opening is well worth the effort to replace the torsion bar.
