Torture testing Kershaw (video)

Dude, I was actually waiting for that shotgun to un-jam and shoot him. REALLY, I saw the shotgun, and paused the video, then decided I would see if he was really serious... Yeah. The Kershaw Needs Word failed? Uhm, yeah shoot it with a pistol and it just might do that, I mean, what did he really think was going to happen. That it would just stop the bullet cold?
Yeah, and when I saw his hands, seriously, did that bother anyone else? I was kinda wondering what that guy is like, but I'm not gonna waste any more time on his stupid videos to find out. People like that who cannot maintain a shotgun well enough to keep it from jamming should not own one.
And, seriously, he just wasted a damn good knife, and I dunno when Kershaw made a "blast" but he must have the only one, looks suspiciously like a Blur.
 
Was there supposed to be a point to the "testing"? Maybe he was testing:

- Can you free a pocket knife frozen in a block of ice using nothing but projectiles fired from a shotgun or pistol?

- If you were frozen solid in a block of ice and shot with a 12-gauge shotgun and .40 caliber handgun, could your pocket knife stop the bullet/pellets and continue to function?
