Does anyone know of a good quality torx driver set? I'm specifically looking for the T6 and T10 drivers, but wouldn't mind a whole set of the small ones. I'm currently on my third set from lowes that are complete garbage in my opinion. I'm looking for something with good tool steel and preferably made in USA.

The Megapro 151tp
Made in the USA
Its a security screwdriver bit set. Has the torx bits with the holes in the center .
A very good tool
Carry it with me all the time at work and works at whatever odd ball screws out there
The double sided torx bits come in all sizes and bits store neetly in pull out handle
Im at work so I cant send a picture but google on it

Get a Brownells ~~ MAGNA-TIP ~ SUPER SET and will last you until your Son or Sons for a lifetime or whoever gets it and then it will just
go on being handed down.! One of the best things I ever bought as I got tired of buying new Torque Drivers and Screwdrivers.*

+1 for Wiha.

In fact, if I had the money I'd replace all of my Craftsman Professional tools with Wiha. Well... that's a lie. I'd replace them with Snap-On. :D But Wiha is a good second choice if you're not a millionaire. For "made in Germany" quality, I actually think they are quite reasonably priced.

Mine is a HUSKY. Stores the bits in the handle.
The Bits are heavy and obviously of good quality upon handling.
Was pretty cheap.
Bought it on that "popular internet shopping center" that starts with the letter "A".

I use that one as well, bought mine at the local big box home improvement store that's at the bottom of the hill, $6 OTD and in-stock at most locations.

I couldn't believe the quality of a $5 tool! This is coming from a person who has a double box FULL of professional grade tools (im a machineist). At one point I had (and paid off) a $7k snap-on account that DIDNT include a box/cart or any shop equipment, just hand/air tools.
That little husky torx set is a well built tool, after awhile any tool like that will need "sharpened" [sanded down] or just replaced but I get MORE life out of my husky than my Mac T-handle set, of course some of that could be the Mac set is what I use for heavy duty work stuff and gets used on old/rounded fasteners, the husky is only used on my knives who's fasteners are all in good shape but regardless don't feel you'll be under-tooled with the $5 husky.

I have both the Husky and Kobalt variety's an they function perfectly for me... and I think have a decent warranty should you get one that was improperly hardened. You cant really beat Wiha for quality but I don't see the need.

Wiha for sure if you are looking for quality. I usually prefer all my tools to be U.S. made as well but Wiha are made in Germany and are excellent.

Made in China, but well made. Try Advance Auto Parts, Complete set with all size torx plus slots, phillips, etc and driver for $6.
I've been using mine for about three years with no problems.

I went to sears and bought them one at a time. I just bought the ones that I needed. life time warranty too. how can you beat that??

For me the Craftsman 5-pc. small torx bit set works great. T-5 thru T-9 It was not very expensive, not more than $10 I think it was.

I used to use that one too, and the quality isn't that great at all. While you may associate weight with good quality, the bits are soft and over time the edges of the torx bits will wear down. That's what happened to mine and to replace it, I got wiha torx bits. As everyone has already said, they're great quality. Worth the extra money.

Any suggestions for the Wiha T4 and T6 drivers for in-Canada? I found the Wiha T8 and T10 drivers at Lee Valley but they don't carry anything smaller nor can order for me.
