Torx drivers?

Wiha is a great brand, but for me, the Husky #74501 precision screwdriver set from Home Depot is adequate. Make sure you buy two of each, for knives & tools that have a screw on each side.

I use the Husky torx driver and a set of Wiha L wrenches. Both have worked great for me without any hiccups.

Wera for me. But I'm a Portland hipster and I wouldn't be caught dead using what most people recommend.

But seriously, I like the Wera handles better.

I was getting by without mucking it up with generally generic torx multi-bit rigs, but I bought a Wiha set once I found this site. The difference in fit and feel is significantly better with the Wiha, but you can manage with cheaper tools if you go slow and pay attention, in my limited experience. I ain't going back though.

I can't comment on the Husky as I have never used them.

Husky on the left: surprisingly not bad.
Husky in the middle: crap.
Wiha is worth it if you plan on doing more than a "once in forever" pivot adjustment.

I found myself impressed with the Ifixit 64 bit kit. I know its not quite as good as the wiha's but they are pretty damn close (i think someone tested them for HRC and they came only one point behind the wiha's). Ive been using mine for a while and never stripped any screw since. For the money and the lifetime warranty i think its a good deal.

It's an 11-piece set, T6 through T40. It was like $40. Can't link where it's from but it's easy to find online. I later on picked up the micro Kraftform set for smaller sizes.

Gotcha, thanks. Wera had a perfect kraftform set (yellow handle) that I wanted to pick up years ago, but never did and now it's not available. I currently have the Wiha/Boker set but always wanted that Wera.

Wiha and don't look back. As complete a set as you can. Just replaced some of my old Wiha sets with a nice complete system 4 set that came in metal box with handle and mini ratchet. The fit is dead on even on the very tiny bits.
