Torx sizes?

China is making microscopes for Leitz and phones for Apple. They can meet high specifications, but who knows where the good stuff is.

I have read some complaints on Wiha bits and it always ends up to be on the ones not made in Germany it is tough to tell how much of it is just a bad batch due to perhaps lesser standard or lesser QC or some other factor. It is for that reason I aim to stick with their pricier made in Germany line.

I don't think Wiha has any bits besides 1/4" or 4mm and that should be the right adapter to convert from the 1/4" on that handle to allow the use of the 4mm bits.

Thanks - that's what I though. Just didn't want to order something I couldn't use.

At least I have an old variety set of 1/4" bits that I can use the handle with too. Just frustrating to me that I didn't notice the different size between the torx bits and the handle...

These will work well! The stubby handle is the best one to use for working on knives. It is a lot easier to control.

If you don't want to worry about anything and have the cash, this is the package to buy all made in Germany, and all the bits. I keep this set separate from a boxfull of torx bits, phillips head, and regular screwdrivers an assortment of all sizes, well not quite. I'd like to get a security set also, I'm seeing more and more security screws around.

I don't like spending money on cheap tools, they will break when you need them the most, when you are using them. I have a 26 inch breaker ratchet made by Tekton and while I was using it on my car the whole ratchet assembly came apart well, I usually have a spare. I did and finished the job. I just for the heck of it called Tekton and the man said to send him a picture and I did and to my surprise I received a brand new ratchet no charge. I will not be afraid to purchase any of their tools. I thought it was an off the wall brand but they came through.

Yep need that adapter for the 5/32 bits(some call them 4mm.) I measured them and they are 5/32 (.156). 4mm equals .160 that is the female part of the adapter the male side is .155 or 5/32. Whatever you desire to call the adapter, I always like to have 2 of an important piece in case it snaps or gets lost.
