I bought this at an architectural antique store in Oregon, and have no clue what it goes to. Do you?

The jeweling reminds me of a 50s Desoto a friend had but, thats all I remember about the dash

Go to the LeMay museum and start looking in some cars There are more chevys there than fords though

I went to the LeMay a couple of weeks ago. Fun place. Funny how it never occurred to me to seek my answer there. In my defense, however, I was with my inlaws.

Hmm, I was leaning more towards an MG or a Triumph.

After spending 30 mins on this mystery, I"m not convinced it's a Ford. I looked and looked. Best comparison to me appears to be this Chrysler Imperial 1957:
