TOTM: What's Next?

Gentlemen and Ladies, has a decision been made? What will be the Traditional of The Month for August 2012?

The Barlow has been a kick to get acquainted with this month and I would not have made the concerted effort to carry it without TOTM as impetus. I raise this question now so that perhaps a consensus may be reached with time for those without the selected pattern to acquire one. Anybody ready to get this started? Run a poll?

I nominate the Canoe pattern, having never tried one. Seems like August is as good a time as any for canoeing :D

Canoe sounds good, they are usually nice and slim and would carry pretty comfortably in the hot weather...
 
I'd be cool with the trapper or the jack. Is there going to be a pole set up like last time. Liked the voting.
 
Was thinking of posting another poll for easier organisation if people are ok with it. I'll make sure to add the options that were missed from last time.
 
Time to start figuring out September. Swing Guard?? Toenail?? Let's pick something funky :thumbup:
 
Might I make a suggestion, being as Oktoberfest starts September 22nd and ends October 7th, maybe we should honor our German friends by just carrying any German made pocket knife, any style by any maker, it will be a broad spectrum of knives to showcase and it will open up the TOTM to more people plus we will get to see lots of different knives.
 
That's fine with me so long as I have a good brew in hand :D

Which month would you like to have it in?
 
I was thinking September, Oktoberfest runs until the first Sunday in October, we could check with Andi, he would know better than I.
 
I was going to save that pic, I wish I had, that was a fantastic pic :-) maybe I'll go back and find it, but something tells me you are already on it ~P
