Is the blade edge usually that far recessed from the false edge at the bottom there? Looks pretty far back, is it normal or from a lot of sharpening? Serious question, not super familiar with this model.

I don't think they come from Spyderco with the edge that far back. It's nice to see a well loved knife. Looks like it has earned its keep.

No but I used to not know how to sharpen and now I do so I fixed it it is hair whittling sharp but I had to make a change to the angle and now it's like that now I know how so it wouldn't have happend but works amazing sharp to lol

Looks very cool man. I'm only moderately good at sharpening myself. Gets the job done but amazing mine usually aren't.

I already adressed this but I love your sarcasm thx so much I no how to sharpen now when I got the knife I didn't so I had to fix it

I think he was being serious... we like to see well-used knives on here. We see a lot of pristine, like-new ones.

If so I'm sorry but honestly today you can't tell because some people just hate hopefully he was if not then ok lol
Question do you have experience with a kershaw knockout or any other good edc folders

I have experience with a Knockout. It's a great carry knife. Big, broad blade and handle but under 4 oz.

I do not have experience with the Knockout specifically but as one of my favorite brands, I have experience with a lot of other Kershaws.

Some I can recommend for great EDC use based on my own experience are:

Thermite
Junkyard Dog I and II
Storm II (discontinued but maybe available online)
Tremor (discontinued but likely available online)
Packrat
One Ton
Shallot
Scallion
Leek

Tactical pen? Check out the new ZT pens. Aluminum or titanium and they look tough!

^+1 to that. I am not familiar with tactical pens or even how one would use them (like a kubaton I would guess) but the ZT ones look cool.

No sarcasm at all. It is nice to see knives that get used like they should and not being babied.
