Tough AAA flashlight

FourSevens Preon, great build quality (2, 10, 84 lumens). A twisty, but they offer a clicky conversion.

Any of the small AAA Fenix should do. I've been carrying this one for a few years now, and it's been banged, dragged, dunked, and dropped. It's still going like the Energizer bunny. The E01, E05, or other will all do nicely. Just a matter of what you want for lumens and run time. I like enough light to see by, with the insane run time of the E01. I have a E05 as a backup in the pack if I need more light, but in the past year I haven't needed it.

Juat to add on, if you want a light that isnt that much bigger than a tripple A its-self, then you should check out the Fenix LD-01. Ive had mine for a few months and it withstands drops to the floor, along with pocket humidity and getting wet by rain or a water hose. Twist on and off feature which isnt my prefered method but it works. 3 modes, comes with split ring and a pocket clip that its silver (it will be noticeable), however it puts out a little under 80 lumens. Average street price of about $30. I won mine in a youtube contest but i would purchase this light because it performs well for me. One other light that is also similar to the LD-01 that you may want to check out would be the streamlight microstream.

Thanks for all the suggestion. I did buy another fenix, the e05 in stainless. I really hope it lasts! If it doesnt I'll be back here looking through to find another.I was really interested in the thrunite buy can't find it reasonably priced here.

Let us know how it works out for you after a few weeks.

I only have 1 flashlight and it's the olight i3s eos. Sits in my small front pocket with my folder at work all day on a concrete crusher with dust and grit getting blown off every time I pull it out. Still performs flawlessly after close to 6 months, albeit a bit scuffed. Think I paid 20 bucks on amazon and I just rotate a rechargable battery out every morning before work. I kill a battery every day between starting and finishing work in the dark and getting into tight spaces for repairs and inspections. This little guy has some hours on it...
