Ok, what is the toughest folder besides a Strider or a Sebenza. (I have both and I mainly carry the Sebenza but I know the Strider is tougher)

So...custom or production what knife if any is stronger than a Strider???

Many knives. Expecially the xm-18 Hinderer. IMO I would even say that my HK 14210 or benchmade mini rukus is easily as stronge. Plus hundreds of others im sure, that being said im not a huge fan of strider. Ive only owned a PT (not impressed) and handled a SNG from a friend.

First post

No particular order...

Lone Wolf Harsey Ranger
Al Mar Sere 2K
Hinderer XM18
And of course Crusader Forge

Zt300, thats the ticket, even the o200,
I dont know about that lone wolf though, I would say thats a medium duty knife, but to each his own.:D

The ZT 0200 is a very tough folder. I have a pair of 'em.

I'm pretty impressed with the Zero Tolerance 0300, 0301, 0302 folders. I am also very happy with the new smaller folder I added to my everyday carry rotation----the Bradley Alias II framelock folder.

My Strider AR is as tough as any Strider out ther.............oh yeah, that's right................my Strider AR IS already a Strider!!:o;):D

There are a lot of strong folders out there........no one company, Strider included, has the claim as the strongest.

Just about any bali-song folder.;)

The strongest folders i have are Extrema Ratio

See: http://www.extremaratioknivesdivision.eu/inglese/military/heavy_duty_folders.htm

Even stronger then my Strider knives to be honest.

I couldn't agree more. I've got a Fulcrum IID, and an AR... and there really is NO competition. I'm more comfortable using my mini-buck-strider spear point, than my AR on tough stuff, just because of the AR's very fine point. That said, due to grind type and blade stock thickness, I admit that the AR is probably the better slicer... I guess that it all depends on what you mean by "Strongest"... In one sense, a monster Busse with a blade that's a third of an inch thick, may be the strongest folder... I mean, seriously, YOU try and get that thing to fold...

Stronger than Strider? Well, production wise, I'd say the Sebenza is just as strong or stronger, the blade thickness difference is negligible, and the ti cut out is thicker on the Sebenza. Extrema Ratio folders, 1/4 thick blades, lockbacks with a safety with stops them from being disengaged. Any balisong will have a stronger lock, just on design of the lock, the Cold steel Arc Angel would be stronger with a carbon steel blade, and the Roton with its steel handles and 3/16 blade is probably the strongest. Customs, theres quite a few, XM-18, Crusader Forge, and Airkats to name a few, thicker varients of the same lock.

In my opinion, the Rick Hinderer XM-18 IS one of the toughest knives out there!

Also, if you CAN get one, a Shane Sibert Pocket Rocket IS a fantastic, tough, and a beast of a knife.
