I did one heat treat specifically to maximize toughness to see where it lands. 1525f austenitize, and two tempers at 350f. The other one I did 1525, then temper at 175f.
 
Any chance seeing s7 for fun? Can’t wait to see 8670 and hoping to see 80crv2

3v sample is a dud. Must have been mislabeled. It’s Rc54, and should have been Rc62 or so.
